Laneslansc - Test
Lanes Landscapes was started as a domestic landscape garden construction business in 1964 by our Chairman and Managing Director Alan Lane. In 1971 the business moved from Stretford to itsí current premises when the nursery side of the business was commenced on the peat soils of Cadishead Moss. In 1977 the business was incorporated as a private limited company and has since expanded and developed to comprise Laneís Landscapes Limited, Brentwood Moss Nurseries, Brenmo Plants wholesale cash-and-carry division (established in 1998) and Manchester Chespale (added in 2002). Lanes Landscapes now operate primarily in the commercial landscape sector with a current turnover of £2.5million per annum generated by hard and soft landscape construction and maintenance and landscape design and management services for Local Authority, Public Authority and Construction Company clients throughout the North West region. Our aim has always been to produce quality workmanship and to preserve and improve relations with our clients and we retain a comprehensive list of clients who use our services on a regular and repat basis.

Olive009 - Olive Tree 3 feet
The Olive (pronounced europaea, is a species of a small tree in the family Oleaceae, native to the coastal areas of the eastern Mediterranean Basin (the adjoining coastal areas of southeastern Europe, western Asia and northern Africa) as well as northern Iran at the south end of the Caspian Sea. Its fruit, also called the olive, is of major agricultural importance in the Mediterranean region as the source of olive oil. The tree and its fruit give its name to the plant family, which also includes species such as lilacs, jasmine, Forsythia and the true ash trees (Fraxinus). The word derives from Latin "oliva" which in turn comes from the Greek ἐλαία (elaia)ultimately from Mycenaean Greek e-ra-wa ("elaiva"), attested in Linear B syllabic script.
